In addition to their well-known tableware and Christmas plates, Royal Copenhagen has also produced naturalistic figurines using the typical underglaze painting technique. The first figurines were created during the Art Nouveau period and today, these little treasures are sought after by many collectors. Since the beginning, the wide and varied assortment has grown gradually. Some very impressive figurines were designed by Christian Thomsen, Knud Kyhn and Jeanne Grut.
