Porcelain | Dahl Jensen | Childrens Figurines

Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen (1874-1960) worked for Bing & Grondahl from 1897-1917 as designer and became head of the porcelain manufactory in 1917. He was B&G's most important animal designer, and many of his lively figurines are sought-for collector’s items today. In 1925, Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen founded an independent small manufactory in Copenhagen. In addition to animal figurines and children figurines, he designed some unusual oriental figurines in bold colors from 1930 to 1958. After his death, his son Georg Dahl-Jensen continued the production until 1981 and closed the company after a complete sale of the stock in 1985.
