Porcelain | Royal Copenhagen | Coloured Flowers

Immediately after the founding of the Royal Copenhagen porcelain manufactory in 1775, a splendid service based on the Meissen model named "Saxony flowers" was created in addition to the well-known decor "Blue fluted". When Professor Arnold Krog became art director of the factory in 1885, he immediately was interested in the old models dating back to the early days of the manufactory. Based on old models, Arnold Krog designed the curved shape for the splendid pattern with the traditional Saxon flower decoration and gold rim.
