The origin of the pattern "Christmas rose" goes back to the year 1924. Later, in 1936, F.A. Hallin, general manager of Bing & Grondahl, ordered the design and manufacture of a complete service. The decor is cut in relief and decorated using the same special technique that has made Danish Christmas plates famous all over the world.
